to plastic or not to plastic that is the question…

to plastic or not to plastic that is the question…

There are more and more companies out there that will give you price- competitive products without the plastic that we have come to get used to over the years and that is killing everything around us including ourselves. I have made quite a few switches already and I can see the increased space that I create in the bathroom or pantry as these products are much less bulky than their plastic counterparts. None of these switches were a sacrifice in…

let’s support these companies and inventors!

I have been looking for alternatives for plastic bags for a while, and today this appeared on my FB page 🙂 The more we support these kind of initiatives together, the more they will become well known and main stream. I have used a few cotton q-tips still but I have used the other ones too. I have tried to make Ecosia my default search engine, (every search helps to plant trees) but the instructions did not result in a different default page. So I type it in, when…

another one bites the dust

another one bites the dust

another piece of plastic made abundant and unnecessary. Time and again I am struck by these small innovative companies, how they all have a similar frame of mind (and web site approach) Upbeat, and personal, a “we can do this” frame of mind, a website with information about the impact on the environment of product they want to replace and often some kind of visual feedback of the impact one has with the change of (consuming) behavior. I like it!…
