Pinterest is a dangerous place to be

Pinterest is a dangerous place to be

Once you start there is no stopping……

There are countless ideas on the internet to use/ reuse, upcycle ( yep that is a word) or recycle many of the articles we throw away every day.

Do you feel bad when you throw away strong shoe boxes, or bottle caps in beautiful colors, or all those plastic tags on used to keep bags closed? I do! I always feel there should be a way to reuse them. Enter the internet or Pinterest…. And you will be lost for days! Everything from children crafts, to furniture, to jewelry, to art, planters and birdhouses. Some of it looks very pretty, some of it may be a bit farfetched…. But we are all have different tastes and I am sure everyone will find something to their liking.

Below a few examples but there is much more out there. One can support the artists who make these products or make them ourselves with our kids, or maybe even start our own business with recycled products, why not?

Disclaimer: As much as I myself get excited about all these crafts,  I am really  not suggesting that everyone now has to make lamps out of spoons or bird feeders out of toilet rolls. However, I really believe there I something  out there for everyone. Just think a little out of the box, become a bit more creative, find something that suits you. It can be really fun to find ways to use “waste” and it feels good to support (i.e. buy) from the people that do.
